As a child and adolescent counsellor I offer children tools to build an identity resilient enough to fully cope with living in this disordered world. Counselling with children I spend a lot of time teaching them about their thoughts and how their brains work. Many of our children’s problems arise from thoughts in the mind, “I am stupid, I am not good at math!” Teach your child that it’s just a thought and they don’t have to believe every thought that comes. An effective strategy is Angel Thoughts. Children can counter these negative little devil thoughts with Angel Thoughts, “I am trying my best, I did well on my last math test.”
Teach your children to turn their devil thoughts into Angel Thoughts!
